Kupid AI is a companion site built around three things: chat, a character creator, and generators for pictures and video. Each companion is a character run by an AI model. To join, you tap the profile icon at the top right and choose Free Sign Up, then continue with Google, Discord or X, or use an email address and password. Customization scores Fair, just below the library, which puts the builder at serviceable rather than deep.
Your creations live in custom model slots. The lower plan gives 4 free slots and up to 24 in total, and the top plan 8 free and up to 28, as of September 2026. For most people that is plenty; it matters only if you like keeping a large cast of characters you designed yourself.
Weekly prices versus the yearly total
The US checkout shows weekly prices, with a toggle for yearly. As of September 2026 the lower plan, Pro, is $3.44 a week on the yearly option, about $14.91 a month taken as one annual charge. The top plan, Ultra, is $5.75 a week yearly, billed $299 a year. The feature list calls the same two plans Premium and Ultimate. Listed prices already include a discount of up to 75%.
Paying week by week costs far more: $12.99 a week for Pro and $24.99 for Ultra, roughly $56 and $108 a month. A heavy user of pictures and video should also count coins. On Pro, 200 coins cover eight videos a month, and once they are gone you either wait for the next month or buy more; its pages do not state what extra coins cost.
